Large numbers of people seeking a plant-based alternative to the traditional meat-heavy meal have prompted Rehoboth ThanksLIVING Dinner organizers to expand the event!

The popular dinner will take place Sunday November 23rd, at Cilantro Restaurant in downtown Rehoboth.  The first seating will begin as originally planned at 3pm.  A new, second seating has been added and will start at 6pm.
“That first seating sold out within days,” explains Patricia Haddock, VegRehoboth president and co-founder. “We kept getting more inquiries – people remember how great last year’s food was, and a lot more people are curious and want to try a traditional holiday meal that is completely plant-based. These new folks are in for a really nice surprise,” she adds. “Our participating chefs are outdoing themselves!”
The 3-course, sit-down meal with feature seasonal food creatively prepared by chefs Leo Cabrera of Modern Mixture, Hari Cameron of a(MUSE), Jay Caputo of Espuma, Gladys Fernandez of Cilantro, Gretchen Hanson of Hobos, bread master Keith Irwin of Old World Breads, and owner/chef Denise Vansant from Cave Girl at the Beach. Gardein meat-free Holiday Turk’y Roasts will also be provided by VegRehoboth.
In addition to the compassionate celebratory foods, the dinner will feature door prizes and a raffle of the best-selling cookbook Color Me Vegan, by Colleen Patrick-Goudreau.  A full cash bar will also be available.
Organizers extend special thanks to event sponsor Jenn Harpel of Morgan Stanley, and to generous sponsors Cave Girl at the Beach, Cilantro Restaurant, Good Earth Market, Modern Mixture, and Old World Breads.
Tickets cost $20 each (with additional $1 fee for online purchase/gratuity not included), and children under age 12 pay half-price.
Tickets can also be purchased at Good Earth Market- Rehoboth Store, located at 38131 Terrace Rd, Rehoboth Beach (off Highway One).

Instead of a buffet, Rehoboth Thanks-Living Dinner 2014 will be a seated 3-course meal, with full service (gratuity not included). There will also be a cash bar available.
